Hybrid Battery Installer/Driver - Memphis TN

Do you enjoy driving and working independently? Are you an auto technician looking to expand your experience working with new automotive technology?

We are currently seeking Automotive Technicians to become an integral part of our team! You will travel to our clients home or work, and install a hybrid battery in their vehicle. Job duties usually consist of 90% driving and 10% installing. On the job training is provided!

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair hybrid vehicles
  • Must be able to lift 100 lbs. safely
  • Previous automotive experience preferred
  • Ability to work in the U.S.
  • Be professional towards customers and employees
  • Maintain an organized work area and work well with a team
  • Be able to work 30 hours per week or more
  • Basic computer skills – (must be able to use an iPad for payment processing)

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fields - minimum 1 year
  • Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Capable of working independently
  • Valid drivers license
  • High school diploma or GED

The ideal candidate is a motivated individual capable of working independently. Must have excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Must be okay with day travel for mobile installations. Most mobile installations are typically 2 to 3 hours away. We provide a company car for mobile installations. This is a contractor position. 

Please respond with: A few things you’ve worked on (cars, motorcycles, boats, hobbies). Understanding how batteries work and general electrical safety fundamentals a huge plus. On the job safety training is provided.
